Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, EKGs, and phlebotomy procedures
- Assist providers with clinical examinations and minor procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Manage patient flow and ensure timely room turnover
- Coordinate patient education materials and discharge instructions
- Handle inventory management and supply restocking
- Collaborate with weekend nursing and specialist teams
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong phlebotomy and EKG skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
