Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during weekend shifts in emergency department
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor vital signs and document patient assessments accurately
- Assist with emergency procedures and trauma response
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless care
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict patient confidentiality
- Support patient education and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Current Washington State Nursing Assistant (NA) or Medical Assistant (MA) certification
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible weekends with reliable transportation
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- EMR/EHR proficiency (Epic systems a plus)
- Pass background check and drug screening
