Responsibilities
- Provide specialized patient care during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun, 6am-6pm)
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs with precision
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans
- Support new staff through mentorship during weekend rotations
Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license in Illinois
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Advanced Life Support (ALS/BLS) certification
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced weekend environments
- EMR/EHR proficiency (Epic systems preferred)
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
