Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vital sign monitoring, and medical history documentation
- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and minor surgical assistance
- Administer medications, injections, and therapeutic treatments per protocols
- Maintain accurate EHR records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Sterilize equipment, manage inventory, and maintain clinical sanitation standards
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Spanish/English bilingual skills strongly preferred
- Available for consistent weekend shifts (7am-7pm)
