Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ICU/ER settings with 3:1 patient ratios
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for care coordination
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans
- Participate in rapid response team activations
- Maintain strict HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license required
- BSN or higher preferred (ADN considered with experience)
- 2+ years critical care or emergency nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
