Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs and patient intake assessments
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinationsPrepare and maintain exam rooms and medical equipment
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Administer injections and medications per physician orders
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and sterile technique
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- New Mexico Medical Assistant license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in weekend shifts
