Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor 15+ nursing staff in high-acuity emergency setting
- Implement evidence-based care protocols and quality improvement initiatives
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans for critical patient cases
- Ensure strict compliance with JCAHO and OSHA regulations
- Conduct performance reviews and staff development sessions
- Manage departmental budget and resource allocation
- Handle crisis situations with decisive leadership
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license with 5+ years ED experience
- BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications required
- BSN degree (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years nursing leadership experience
- Strong proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and team-building skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
