Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of 15+ nursing staff in ICU/ER departments
- Develop and implement patient care protocols ensuring JCAHO compliance
- Conduct performance evaluations and mentorship programs for nursing team
- Collaborate with physicians to optimize treatment plans
- Manage inventory and budget for medical supplies/equipment
- Lead quality improvement initiatives reducing patient readmission rates
- Coordinate disaster response protocols for border region emergencies
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license with minimum 5 years ICU/ER experience
- Bachelor's in Nursing (MSN preferred)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- 2+ years supervisory experience in acute care settings
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Bilingual English/Spanish required for El Paso community
- Proven track record in reducing hospital-acquired infections
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
