Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of 15-bed critical care unit
- Mentor and evaluate nursing staff performanceDevelop and implement unit-specific care protocols
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and state regulations
- Coordinate interdisciplinary patient care conferences
- Manage unit budget and resource allocation
- Respond to emergency situations with decisive leadership
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BSN or Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years ICU/ER experience
- 1+ years supervisory experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications (current)
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Ability to work rotating weekends/holidays
