Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in cardiac telemetry unit
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs and interpret EKG rhythms
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Document patient assessments and progress
- Educate patients and families on care plans
- Adhere to JCAHO and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license required
- ACLS/BLS certifications mandatory
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- Telemetry unit experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
