Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute cardiac settings
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Document patient records accurately and timely
- Educate patients and families on cardiac health
- Respond to emergency situations with composure
- Maintain strict HIPAA and OSHA compliance
Qualifications
- Active California RN license required
- BSN or higher preferred
- 2+ years acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
