Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to cardiac ICU patients with advanced monitoring and intervention skills
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Document patient assessments and care plans using EMR systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure care plans
- Participate in rapid response team activations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida (or compact state)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years ICU/CCU experience preferred
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with ICU experience considered)
- Excellent critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Epic EMR experience preferred
