Responsibilities
- Provide advanced critical care for ICU patients including ventilator management
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor and interpret patient telemetry data
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately
- Respond to rapid response and code blue situations
- Educate patients and families on post-ICU care
Qualifications
- Active Louisiana RN license required
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- BSN degree preferred (ADN with experience considered)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
