Responsibilities
- Deliver critical patient care in ICU/ER settings with rapid assessment and intervention
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, lab results, and diagnostic imaging
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Provide patient/family education on treatment plans and discharge procedures
- Participate in trauma activations and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Louisiana (or compact state)
- BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year ICU/ER experience (new grads with externships welcome)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
