Responsibilities
- Provide advanced emergency nursing care for trauma, cardiac, and critical patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using Epic EHR systems
- Administer medications and treatments per protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and adjust care plans dynamically
- Lead code blue responses and rapid interventions
- Document patient encounters with precision and timeliness
- Mentor new nurses and ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (or compact state license)
- ACLS, BLS, and TNCC certifications required
- 3+ years ED or ICU experience preferred
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- Strong assessment skills for complex cases
- Experience with emergency triage protocols
- Ability to work high-pressure 12-hour shifts
- Spanish bilingual preferred
