Responsibilities
- Provide personalized daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident health status to nursing staff
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Maintain accurate resident care documentation and electronic health records
- Support resident social activities and emotional wellbeing
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop care plans
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly residents
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
