Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to high-acuity patients in 28-bed trauma unit
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during code blue activations
- Implement evidence-based protocols for sepsis and stroke alerts
- Maintain accurate EHR documentation within 15 minutes of patient encounters
- Mentor new nurses through our structured residency program
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to mass casualty incidents with our mobile response unit
Qualifications
- Active TN RN license (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years ED experience required
- BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications
- BSN degree (MSN preferred for leadership track)
- Experience with Epic EMR and Pyxis medication systems
- Proven ability to manage 8+ patients simultaneously
- Successful completion of critical care orientation
