Responsibilities
- Rapid assessment and intervention for critical patients in high-pressure emergency settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and efficiency
- Maintain accurate electronic health records while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Provide trauma-informed care to diverse patient populations including pediatric and geriatric cases
- Mentor new staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license with current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years ER experience in Level 1 Trauma Center preferred
- BSN degree required (MSN candidates strongly encouraged)
- Proven ability to perform under extreme pressure with exceptional prioritization skills
- Advanced proficiency in Epic EHR system
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
- Available for rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
