Responsibilities
- Assess and stabilize trauma patients in high-pressure emergency scenarios
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Document patient records with precision using Epic EHR
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons and specialists
- Mentor new staff and maintain unit safety compliance
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Active TN RN license (compact license accepted)
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- 3+ years ED/trauma experience preferred
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 12-hour shifts
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
