Responsibilities
- Rapid assessment and stabilization of emergency patients
- Administer critical medications and IV therapies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary trauma teams
- Document patient care using Epic EMR system
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO standards
- Provide patient/family education during crisis situations
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Current Texas RN license (required)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 5+ years ED experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- Strong triage and critical decision-making skills
- Ability to work high-pressure 12-hour shifts
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
