Responsibilities
- Delve advanced life support interventions in high-acuity ICU/CCU settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for complex patient care planning
- Implement evidence-based practices for critically ill patients
- Utilize Epic EMR for accurate documentation and care coordination
- Mentor new staff through our structured preceptorship program
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Louisiana RN license (compact state preferred)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (PALS/NRP a plus)
- 2+ years critical care experience (ICU/CCU/ER)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Strong assessment skills for hemodynamically unstable patients
- Experience with ventilator management and arterial lines
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
