Responsibilities
- Delve advanced patient assessments and interventions in critical care settings
- Administer complex medications and life-support therapies with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic medical documentation in Epic EMR
- Provide family education and emotional support during critical situations
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency procedures
- Mentor new staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (Compact License preferred)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 3+ years ICU experience considered)
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years ICU/Step-down experience
- Proficiency with ventilators, arterial lines, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Exceptional critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Strong communication abilities in high-pressure environments
