Responsibilities
- Provide advanced cardiac monitoring and intervention for post-op cardiac patients
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex patient cases
- Document patient assessments and care plans with precision
- Mentor new staff and uphold unit excellence standards
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active KY RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience (cardiac preferred)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (current)
- BSN degree (or enrolled in BSN program)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (days/nights available)
- Experience with vent management and arterial lines
