Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in acute care settings with precision and compassion
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs and document patient progress in EMR systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Provide patient education on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and code activations
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact license with quick verification process)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years acute care experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care or emergency department experience
- Proven ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
