Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU
- Administer medications and monitor patient vitals continuously
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for treatment plans
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on post-ICU care
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations
- Maintain strict infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree (ADN with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in high-pressure environment
