Responsibilities
- Deliver expert critical care to cardiac patients in our 24-bed ICU unit
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor and interpret patient telemetry data and vital signs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions in Epic EHR system
- Mentor new staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active TN RN license (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience required
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications mandatory
- Experience with cardiac monitoring and ventilator management
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Epic EHR proficiency preferred
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
