Responsibilities
- Provide advanced critical care for post-surgical and trauma patients
- Administer complex medications and life-support interventions
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data with rapid response capability
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with precision
- Train and mentor new nursing staff during onboarding
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience in acute care setting
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications mandatory
- Expertise in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts with weekend rotation
- Spanish bilingualism highly valued
