Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient assessments and care in emergency settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans
- Administer medications and monitor patient vitals accurately
- Document electronic health records with precision and timeliness
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care protocols
- Respond swiftly to critical situations and code blue events
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Active Kansas RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years ER experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
