Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital signs and basic diagnostic tests
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms/medical equipment
- Manage patient records and EHR documentation
- Schedule appointments and handle administrative tasks
- Provide patient education and support
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA preferred)
- 1+ years clinical experience in healthcare setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/Meditech a plus)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Must pass background check and drug screening
