Responsibilities
- Oversee 15+ team members during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Implement and enforce safety protocols for equipment handling and warehouse operations
- Manage inventory control systems and reconcile discrepancies
- Coordinate loading/unloading of trucks and optimize dock efficiency
- Train and mentor staff on operational procedures and performance standards
- Generate daily productivity reports and address workflow bottlenecks
- Collaborate with day shift supervisors for seamless transition
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced environments
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory software
- Forklift certification and heavy equipment operation skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities under time-sensitive conditions
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
