Responsibilities
- Oversee 20+ night shift staff, ensuring safety protocols and productivity targets
- Coordinate inbound/outbound freight operations using WMS systems
- Conduct daily inventory audits and discrepancy resolution
- Implement process improvements for overnight efficiency
- Act as primary point of contact for emergency overnight issues
- Train and mentor new team members on SOPs
- Generate shift reports and performance metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficient in inventory management software (SAP, Oracle)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in climate-controlled environment
- Flexibility for rotating weekends (2-3/month)
- Valid NC driver's license with clean record
- High school diploma (degree preferred)
