Responsibilities
- Operational Efficiency: Load, unload, and prepare merchandise for delivery or storage accurately and efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records using handheld scanners and computer systems.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damages and ensure quality standards are met.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and fellow employees to streamline warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly; ability to stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required for immediate hiring.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanning devices.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable form of transportation and be available for full-time shifts.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a willingness to learn.
