Responsibilities
- Oversee 15-20 overnight warehouse staff, ensuring safety protocols and productivity targets
- Coordinate inventory management, shipping/receiving, and order fulfillment during night shifts
- Implement process improvements using lean methodology to optimize workflow efficiency
- Conduct daily shift briefings and performance evaluations for night team members
- Address operational issues immediately and escalate critical concerns to management
- Maintain accurate documentation of shift activities, inventory counts, and incident reports
- Collaborate with day shift supervisors for seamless transition and operational continuity
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse/supervisory experience with night shift exposure
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make decisions under pressure
- Valid driver's license with clean record (required for facility inspections)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays as needed
- Preferred: Six Sigma Yellow Belt or supply chain certification
