Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments under physician supervision
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records
- Assist with emergency response protocols during overnight hours
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile equipment
- Coordinate with day-shift staff for seamless patient care continuity
- Perform diagnostic tests and specimen collection
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital/clinic setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
