Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in fast-paced urgent care environment
- Assess and treat acute injuries/illnesses including fractures, infections, and minor trauma
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient treatment plans
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and perform minor procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients on preventive care and treatment protocols
- Participate in emergency response protocols and triage systems
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX RN)
- BSN degree or higher (ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years urgent care or emergency department experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish highly desirable
