Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Administer injections and medications per physician orders
- Schedule appointments and handle patient correspondence
- Maintain sterile exam rooms and inventory supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant diploma or certificate (CMA, RMA, or CCMA preferred)
- 1+ years clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth)
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- MA license in Massachusetts (or eligible)
