Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital signs and basic diagnostic testsPrepare and maintain exam rooms and medical equipment
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Administer injections and medications under supervision
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- 1+ years of clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/Meditech a plus)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- High school diploma or equivalent required
