Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, and injections
- Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately
- Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up communications
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Administer medications under provider supervision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient flow
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Omaha area residency preferred (or willingness to relocate)
