Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care and support during weekend shifts
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Accurately document patient information in EHR systems
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Coordinate with weekend nursing staff for seamless patient flow
- Handle emergency triage situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Strong weekend availability (required)
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional communication and empathy skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced weekend environments
- New Mexico state license (or eligibility)
