Responsibilities
- Design and implement machine learning models for fraud detection and customer behavior prediction
- Lead end-to-end data science projects from research to production deployment
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into high-transaction systems
- Present findings to C-suite stakeholders using compelling data visualizations
- Mentor junior data scientists and drive best practices across the team
- Stay current with emerging ML techniques and industry benchmarks
Qualifications
- 5+ years in data science with proven production ML deployment experience
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP preferred)
- Strong statistical modeling skills (regression, classification, clustering)
- Experience with high-volume transactional data processing
- Portfolio demonstrating impactful data science projects
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional leadership
