Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics documentation and inventory levels.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and clients to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Optimize shipping routes and procedures to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Process freight bills and verify accuracy of invoices from third-party carriers.
- Assist in training new team members on safety protocols and software systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and transportation management software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
