Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound freight shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to resolve logistics bottlenecks.
- Monitor shipment status in real-time and proactively address any delays or issues.
- Prepare and process necessary documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms.
- Analyze shipping costs and identify strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update the ERP system daily.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding.
- Proficiency in logistics software (SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong working knowledge of Incoterms, import/export regulations, and supply chain processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, data-driven decisions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a high level of attention to detail.
