Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot & Resolve: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for internal staff in a timely manner.
- System Administration: Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments, ensuring uptime and security.
- User Support: Provide Tier 2 support via ticketing systems and direct phone support for hardware/software deployment.
- Network Management: Monitor network performance, configure routers/switches, and troubleshoot connectivity problems.
- Security Compliance: Enforce IT security policies, manage user access, and assist with patch management.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in IT support or help desk roles.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Active Directory, MS Office Suite, and cloud services (AWS/Azure experience a plus).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
