Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain robust backend APIs and microservices.
- Code Optimization: Review code for best practices, efficiency, and performance bottlenecks.
- Database Management: Oversee database design, optimization, and data integrity for high-volume traffic.
- Collaboration: Partner with frontend developers and product managers to define technical requirements and deliverables.
- Testing & Debugging: Implement automated testing strategies and troubleshoot complex production issues.
- Documentation: Create technical documentation for architecture and deployment procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience in a full-time capacity.
- Core Skills: Proficiency in Java, Python, or Node.js. Experience with Spring Boot or Django is a plus.
- Databases: Strong working knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and caching mechanisms.
- Cloud: Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud services and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
