Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various metal structures and pressure vessels.
- Conduct visual and non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections to ensure weld quality.
- Maintain welding equipment, torches, and machinery in excellent working order.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company quality assurance protocols.
- Collaborate with fabricators and project managers to meet tight production deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certified Welder (AWS, ASME, or equivalent) is highly required.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional welding experience in an industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and comprehensive background check.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting heavy loads, and working in various weather conditions.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
