Responsibilities
- Manage and Maintain: Oversee the daily operations of server infrastructure, ensuring 99.9% uptime and optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues for internal stakeholders.
- Security Implementation: Enforce security protocols, manage firewalls, and conduct regular security audits to protect sensitive data.
- System Upgrades: Plan and execute system upgrades, patch management, and hardware replacements.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Support: Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and mentor junior IT staff.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of proven experience as a Systems Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or similar certification is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with non-technical teams.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
