Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in Level I Trauma Center with 30+ daily admissions
- Implement evidence-based nursing protocols for critical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists during emergency procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with EMR proficiency
- Lead rapid response teams for cardiac/respiratory emergencies
- Mentor new staff during high-acuity patient surges
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active NM RN license (compact state license acceptable)
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Minimum 2 years ER/trauma experience
- BSN degree strongly preferred
- Proven ability to perform in high-pressure environments
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Strong critical thinking and triage skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
