Responsibilities
- Provide rapid assessment and intervention for emergency patients across all acuity levels
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during trauma activations and critical care events
- Administer medications and treatments per protocols with precise documentation
- Maintain patient flow efficiency while ensuring compassionate care standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and emergency preparedness drills
- Mentor new staff and uphold departmental safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active TN RN license with current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills for high-pressure situations
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- EMR proficiency (EPIC experience a plus)
