Responsibilities
- Oversee Supply Chain Operations: Manage end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current workflows and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a team of logistics coordinators and supply chain analysts to ensure high productivity and safety standards.
- Vendor Management: Cultivate strong relationships with third-party logistics providers and vendors to secure the best rates and services.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Strategic Planning: Develop long-term supply chain strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Excel (Advanced).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with vendors.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex logistical issues under pressure.
