Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026+ strategic foresight framework through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and systemic risks
- Produce forward-looking reports and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Build and manage an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Translate foresight insights into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and investor stakeholders
- Champion future-ready organizational capabilities and adaptive culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism/innovation (whitepapers, journals, keynotes)
- Mastery of foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, causal layered analysis)
- Experience with emerging tech: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
